Speaker 4:Facts, facts.
Speaker 1:So what brought you guys to Vegas?
Speaker 4:Man, Vegas, Vegas. Well, first of all, Vegas is an absolute vibe.
Speaker 1:It is.
Speaker 4:It's funny because, like in Vegas, like before I came here, I had this preconceived notion that Vegas was just all tall buildings and it was just the strip was like Vegas. Have you been here before?
Speaker 1:No, oh, it's the first time.
Speaker 4:Well, I came in January, but before then I hadn't. So then when I came and I saw that the strip is just, it's just literally one street and then everything else is like suburbs and stuff like that. I like that vibe, man, because you don't have to be like fully entrenched in it if you don't want to, man. But what brings us here, man? We just came out here to add value. We're doing a bunch of podcasts while we're in the city, man, and you know, just looking to be a value to people that are watching.
Speaker 1:So how can we add value today, like right now?
Speaker 3:Dude talk about, like what does your audience need the most? Like, at the end of the day, you have a lot of audience of what? A lot of business owners? Yeah, for sure. So what?
Speaker 1:do? Business owners need Listen. You know what they need. They need customers.
Speaker 3:They need customers. Yeah, so the thing that we do 24 seven, literally, I hardly even sleep we do this so much is help people get more customers.
Speaker 1:So when we talk about that a little bit and the reason why I you know, obviously, is what y'all do especially, however, the average business owner only relies on like where are the mouth? And referrals, like they spend so much time just opening up the thing, yeah, and they're like oh the thing's open, yeah, yeah, where's the people at Right? You know, and even you know and what I do and stuff. Like I talk to entrepreneurs all the time and I'm like all right, cool, you have the thing when you know where's the customers coming from Right.
Speaker 1:And also always like and even encouraging to, like, let's just pre-sell it, like, just get the offer out there, let's see what the market, let's see how the market is going to react. Yeah, so if you just go through some lists right, and everyone has lists- they just ignore them.
Speaker 1:But if you go through your list, you can probably start generating some like momentum for some initial sales Cause there's a lot of people that just support you, just cause it's you, and once you get from that first and that second layer, then you got to start talking to people that don't know who you are Exactly so why don't we? Just talk about that. So why don't we kind of go through a timeline? Can we do that? Yeah, yeah, brand new entrepreneur, yeah, idea, yeah, let's say the idea is fire.
Speaker 4:Right.
Speaker 1:And they want to sell something and they've never sold anything before Yep and they want to go get their first customers, let's say, make their first I don't know $5,000. Let's say the product is, you know, 250 bucks or something like that. I don't know how. Like what are the ways they can go get these customers and make that first five care?
Speaker 4:Well, I'll start it off and you finish it up. Cool, let's do it. So, first things first. You got this idea as a business owner, and I know a lot of business owners out there have amazing ideas and they just, they just can't, can't make it materialize, right? So when you get the idea, the first thing you have to ask yourself is is it a valuable idea? Is this idea something that's going to move my customer base to take action and become one of my leads? So can we?
Speaker 1:start by real quick. Yep. How can they determine if the idea is that type of an idea?
Speaker 4:So you got to test it. That's really the only way that you're going to know, because you could have an idea that you think is the most amazing idea in the world, but when you bring it to market and no one's no one's buying or opting in, that's how you know. So you have to test it. That's really the only way that you're going to know is to be in the field doing it. So once you figure out what that is, by the way, what you have to do is you have to create what's called a lead magnet. Okay, all right.
Speaker 1:Is the lead magnet transferable for any type of business?
Speaker 4:Absolutely.
Speaker 1:So every business can potentially have a lead magnet, absolutely so.
Speaker 4:A lead magnet is essentially where you give away something, most times for free, in exchange for information. Right, typically, that's how it works, and what you have to be willing to do when it comes to your lead magnet is you have to be willing to give away something extremely valuable for free, because a lot of people they'll create these lead magnets and they'll go very skimpy on the offer. They'll give away their lowest, least effective offer because they're scared that if they give away all this value, people are just going to run off with it.
Speaker 1:Bro, listen, I just saw somebody that just started a brand new business to give away the most valuable thing that they're going to sell.
Speaker 4:Yes, how does that make sense, bro? It makes sense because you got to think about this. When you have an audience, first impressions are everything. So if I'm someone that's new and I'm scrolling through TikTok or scrolling through IG and I see someone and I happen to get hit with their ad, attention is the most valuable resource. So now you have my attention. If, during that 15 seconds that you have my attention, you don't blow my face off, then I'm out of here. I'm not even going to waste my time and that's the first impression. So now, anytime I see you after that, I'm going to be like yo, they ain't giving away no sauce, so I'm not even going to worry about it.
Speaker 4:So, ultimately, give away your best stuff for free, because what's going to happen is people are always going to have more questions and they're going to trust you. Think about this. We were talking about this the other day on our podcast. The Super Bowl halftime show is actually the biggest lead magnet ever, when you think about it, because the artist does not get paid on the Super Bowl. They don't get paid, but they're willing to, which I think is criminal. It's very criminal.
Speaker 1:Even though they get all our free exposure. You know what bread they get just for it. I know they get.
Speaker 4:So much money. And that's the thing On the front end. Yes, the artist is doing the Super Bowl for free and typically they charge 100K plus for a show. So they're willing to give away something extremely valuable, which is their talent, but in exchange, they're getting the attention and that attention leads to them making a massive amount of money on the back end through all the things that they have set up on the back end. So that's the same thing for business owners. First of all, you have to start giving away the most extreme value possible. You have to start there and then, once you get them in, that's when it gets really fun.
Speaker 3:Once you get them into the system, which is counterintuitive, though Right. When we tell people this, they look at us the same way you did, like I'm just getting started, I'm supposed to give away something for free, like something valuable for free, and we always say you actually have. Everybody has this. By the way, they have a built in like compass that will tell them if they have a good offer or not.
Speaker 1:Everybody has this, and this comes as intuition.
Speaker 3:It's intuition and basically it's like this If you're thinking about your offer, whatever it is that you're going to give away for free, if it don't make you nervous, it's not going to get them excited, that's a good one. I like that, right, yeah, because you think about it like if you, if you're like thinking about giving, think about it like this All right, I'm going to give away a free shirt and I'm going to collect all these leaps. People see a free shirt. They're like I don't want a shirt, I have too many shirts already in my drawer. I need to throw away some shirts, right. But if you're thinking about giving away free clothes for a year, all of a sudden, that's like wait a minute. The customer, the prospect on the other side of that offer, sees that as like wait a minute, a free clothes for a year. It's different. Even if it's a women's boutique, bro, I might opt into that, just because you know what I mean. So make your offer something that, like you said earlier, it's face melting. I think too many people.
Speaker 1:Hold on, hold on. Okay, you said, you said what Blow your face off?
Speaker 4:Yeah, and, by the way, like we use that terminology, like when we're teaching. We're like, yeah, we're about to, we do webinars. Yeah, we got to blow your face off, exactly. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3:Because that's our. You want to melt your face Like I hope you all don't like your face too much because like the end of this. This is cause it fall directly off your feet, like we say that all the time and it's because we do that, though, like literally, people leave our challenges with like no face.
Speaker 4:And they'll say it too. They'll say yo my face, like we'll do testimonials. They'll be like yo my face gone, yeah, it's out of here.
Speaker 3:But it's a mindset right. I think so many business owners. They want to create good things, they want to create great things. But don't be, don't strive to be great, strive to be face melting. I like it. I think if, if you do that, if you change your mindset and like you know what I'm not trying to just be great, I want to melt people's faces off you will naturally just rise above the majority of the people out here that are just doing mediocre stuff.
Speaker 1:So can a lead magnet be face melting? Yes, right, like a, like a tangible item.
Speaker 3:Can it?
Speaker 1:also be content yes or or. Or it could be both.
Speaker 3:It could be, both it could be both, you know, but at the end of the day, if it doesn't remember this, guys, if it doesn't make you nervous, it's not going to make them excited. So, when you're putting together your stuff, make sure it's face melting and then put it out into the, into the, into the universe, right? So at that point you have to put your, put out your lead magnet because, at the end of the day, all you guys are, you know a lot of people, when they start businesses, they rely on social media for awareness. Cause we cause, we know awareness and attention is the most valuable resource, yup, and where's the most attention? It's great, it's on social media TikTok, instagram, facebook, and that's all great. But you got to realize that Facebook you don't own Facebook, you don't own Instagram. You are renting those platforms, you are renting those audiences.
Speaker 3:And one thing that a lot of people don't understand is that if your Instagram account gets shut down tomorrow, what happens to your audience? You ain't got it, you ain't got out of here, and if you don't got an audience, you got no face, you got. You got no money, right. So, like audiences, the prerequisite to acquisition, right? So you can't have an acquisition, you can't get acquired. People can't acquire stuff if you don't have attention. So, anyway, what our biggest thing is and I think this is probably the biggest mistake that most business makes, business owners make is relying on social media. That's the fact for their attention.
Speaker 1:So if you rely on social media, right, mm-hmm, and word of mouth, yeah, and referrals, yeah, that's a, that's a pretty those things are great, like that's the thing.
Speaker 3:If you have word of mouth and you have referrals, that's great.
Speaker 1:But they don't normally have the word of mouth.
Speaker 3:That's what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, 100%. But if you do have the word of mouth and the referrals, that means you have a validated product. Yeah, and that means you definitely need to start dumping some fire exactly into the, into the. You know, dumping some gas on the fire.
Speaker 4:Yeah, and that's a good point, bro, because, like, if you, if you are like just serving friends and family, like we call that FNF syndrome, friends and family syndrome. Yeah, if you are doing that, a pandemic it is a pandemic out here and a lot of business owners are doing. That's what I'm saying, yeah you know, but if you are doing that. At least that can validate your offer a little bit 100%.
Speaker 3:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 4:Yeah, so so for the question you asked me originally, like how do they know if the offer is good, if people are Buying it and you're getting all this attention, then you know. Okay, this is something that I could bring out to the masses. Like anytime that we put something out there, we always validated with our audience first yeah, to see if it's something like a test group exactly exactly, you know.
Speaker 4:So now, the beauty of of Creating a audience, or having that that audience initially, like a lot of business owners that are probably watching this podcast right now, they might have a little audience or a small list.
Speaker 4:You know what I'm saying. The beauty of that is when we get into like ads though, you know, and being able to to have a list of people, because there's something On facebook called the facebook pixel. Have you heard of that before? Yeah, okay. So for the audience listening, the facebook pixel is this little piece of code that you put on your website and what it does is it tracks the actions that people perform on your website, right? So, like, if you, if you go to the product page, the pixel tracks that. If you add to cart, the pixel tracks that you purchase. It's a pixel tracks all of these actions, right. But if you're a business owner and you have a website and you're not, you're, you don't have the pixel installed on your website, you're missing out on a ton of data. Yeah, like, you don't know what's going on exactly. However, if you have an instagram page, which I'm sure most of your followers do, the pixel is actually automatically built in To your instagram page. So you're actually sitting on data that you probably didn't even know that you had, right. So check this out, right? When we talk about lists, email lists, phone numbers, the list that the pixel creates, the data the pixel creates what you can do is you can take that list and you can say hey, facebook. By the way, that's called a custom audience. You get a list of people that have performed a specific action. That's called a custom audience. It's a segmented group of people that have performed a specific action, right? So let's just say that you have a list of 100 buyers, right? You can take that list of 100 buyers and you can say, hey, facebook, these 100 buyers right here, they all know, like and trust me and they're buying my products already. What I want you to do is I want you to take this list and go out into the facebook land and find more people that are similar to the people that have already expressed action or have already expressed interest in my product. So facebook's like okay, cool, those 100 people that know, like and trust you already. I'm going to go ahead and find more people on facebook that are exactly the same as those people. But facebook does. Does you want better. They say, okay, you have a list of 100 people. What I'm going to do is I'm going to take that list of 100 and I'm going to find millions of people that are the same exact type of people that are already on your list.
Speaker 4:It's insane. It's insane and that's called a look-alike audience. Yeah, so now you can take that look-alike audience and now you can run ads to them, which is already a proven, a Proven type of person because it comes from your original list. But the same thing goes for instagram. Let's say that someone is messaging you on instagram. You can create a custom audience of just people who have DMed you and do the same exact thing create a look-alike audience Off of that and run ads to it. And that's when it starts to get really, really crazy. When it comes to Focusing on growing your list. It makes growing your list a lot more valuable. Right, because now you have this list that you can plug into facebook, but then it also allows you to tap in more into social media as well. And then use that list to go ahead and create a look-alike audience. Offer that as well. It's a cheat code.
Speaker 3:It is like, think about everything he just said. It all comes boils back down to one word data, data, data. If you are a new business owner, like what it's kind of what we talked about in the beginning. It's how we started this conversation. What should you be doing? Collecting data. Make sure you're collecting data from all your users, whether it's pixel data, email list, phone list, like because they didn't going back to what we were talking about earlier.
Speaker 3:If instagram does kick you off and but you have a list of all your customers names, emails, phone numbers Well, you could just shoot, shoot them a text message, thanks, and say yo, instagram shut me down yesterday. I know it sucks, but like it's cool because I'm still here, right, and they can move with you. And it's like security for your business. So, whenever the next thing, the next tick, tock or whatever schmick, schmack, whatever it is, they can, they can go off and they can start following you. Now you got instant followers right, so you got to be collecting that data, because data is the most valuable resource in the world. And Like, think about it too. Like all the biggest companies in the world are doing it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean. Companies got bought just because of data. Think about facebook.
Speaker 3:When facebook bought whatsapp. Uh, what was like six, seven years ago, mm-hmm, they bought whatsapp for 19 billion.
Speaker 3:Something like that 19 billion dollars. My facebook has the best developers in the world why they could have just created another whatsapp Instantly, like why did they buy whatsapp? Because of all the data they had, right, all the user information. So if facebook, if conglomerates like facebook, are doing it, you should probably do it too, because one of our favorite Sayings is success leaves clues, mm-hmm, right. So you, we have to start paying attention to what these big companies are doing. Stop looking at these businesses From a consumer stamp, from a consumer lens, and start looking at it from a producer's lens and you'll start seeing things different. You start seeing the moves that they're making and then you can you can Replicate the moves and do them for yourself. Most small to medium-sized businesses are not focused on collecting data, and that's the problem.
Speaker 2:Is your revenue stuff. If you're entrepreneur and your revenue is stuff, you don't need to fix your products or services, you need new audiences to discover you more consistently. Speaker 1:So so what's that timeline? So right, we talked about New business, right, I got a uh face melting.
Speaker 3:Offer. Got the offer, yeah, right.
Speaker 1:So I got a uh lead magnet. Yeah, I'm gonna use this lead magnet where to get the data.
Speaker 3:So everywhere, right. So you got something great. So let's just say you did create a face melting offer. It's out there, all right, great, boom, post it everywhere you can.
Speaker 1:So so where they posting they? Post it so on all the social media, all of them. Yeah, we're uh everywhere.
Speaker 3:Where else? So there are instagram facebook groups, right, that's a. That's a really huge untapped, not untapped. A lot of people are doing it, but a lot of people aren't doing it the right way. They're sleeping on it still because they think facebook is old and there's no audience. There's, there's audience, there's money on facebook. Still find. Find where your audience, your ideal client, congregates, wherever that might be, and start dropping your giveaway in there. Start dropping your lead magnets in there. Reddit forums.
Speaker 1:How often the shit they be doing this. They should do it every day.
Speaker 3:They should do it as much as they can.
Speaker 1:They make a list of different places where audiences exist. Yeah that they can, you know, get in front of. They should be doing that every day, do it?
Speaker 4:every day. And another thing they should be doing every day is creating content and, on the back end of that content, having a call to action Telling people hey, I'm doing this giveaway. If you're interested, go ahead and comment the word xyz or DM me the word xyz, and then, on the back end, they can utilize instagram DM automation, where they get DM the key word and then they can opt in that way through the DM, which is a much cleaner way to do it for people that still haven't fully bought in and trusted you yet. A lot of times they don't like going outside of instagram.
Speaker 4:You know what I'm saying they don't like going they don't like clicking on external links and leaving, so you hit them in the DM and they comment a specific word and then you give them your lead magnet right there. Right, you get them to give you their information and then you you email them the lead magnet.
Speaker 3:They feel a lot more safe Doing it that way, in the same container, exactly, and to go back to your Question too, like because we have a timeline right, this is a new entrepreneur and in the beginning of business, you have more time than you have money. So that's the reason why we're saying, okay, in the beginning, create a lead magnet it's very, very valuable and start using your time and your energy to go out and post in these groups, post on social media Organically and start building your list there. Now, as the list grows, you're going to make more money. Because that's another principle more lists, more money, bigger lists, bigger money.
Speaker 3:And people need to realize that every, every client that we've ever worked with that are doing over a quarter million a month. They're all hyper focused on growing their list and monetizing that list, every single one of them. They're very, very intentional about it. So as you start to do that and your list grows, you're going to make more money. And as you start to make more money, now you can start utilizing more of the tools that are not so much focused around you, your time and your energy, but more focused on automation and leverage got you right.
Speaker 1:So then you take like a what, like a percentage of that and you start putting it towards some of these automations, right, and then you start pumping it with ads and stuff like that, like he said, and and that's how you can start growing your list even faster.
Speaker 3:And then, and I'm telling you, man, it's crazy, because once you get the momentum going, momentum is a beautiful thing, right, but most people, they can't outlast the learning curve. Yeah, they never see momentum because they got distracted during the learning curve, you know, and they they were like, ah man, this, this isn't working for me. I'm not good at this. Yeah, this sucks. Because they don't. They don't understand that the learning curve Is, is a part of the process. Well, how long is the learning? Curve, though like how long should they commit so?
Speaker 1:that's a lot.
Speaker 3:That's the thing that's a great question man, and I think the learning curve is gonna depend on the way that you do it.
Speaker 1:Should there be like a default amount of time that they should just like blanket commit to, so they can you know Like is that 60, 90 days or?
Speaker 3:something. Here's the thing, bro, like when we first started our business, our first e-commerce store. This is like almost a decade ago, because we're music artists, we were music artists, you're gonna do a freestyle in the park.
Speaker 4:I'm a little rusty, bro. It's been a minute, bro, I'm gonna have to pull out the phone.
Speaker 3:I'm a little rusty rusty, but now it'll come back fast though. I know, I know, but like no. The only reason because the only reason we even got into marketing is all at all Is because we wanted to fund our music career.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that makes sense. We're just broke.
Speaker 3:We're broke me like we had fans and we had some, we were doing shows and we're doing some stuff, but we were just broke. What was your rap names?
Speaker 4:Space suit junkies.
Speaker 3:What? The space suit junkies? Space suit, space suit junkies, yeah y'all can check it out.
Speaker 4:It was a vibe too, because we were like rappers.
Speaker 1:We was. We was like R&B EDM.
Speaker 4:Imagine that mix and I'm kind of like Drake's last album before this, one where he kind of do the EDM.
Speaker 3:We did it first drink, and I'm mixed and produced all our records, so we did everything in house, but we're anyway. We were broke, though Like we were so broke, we made broke people feel good about themselves, like it was like that, so they was coming to shows and you was giving them money.
Speaker 3:We were paying people to. Just yeah, but like so, anyway, we got into marketing. We're like, all right, let's start this e-commerce store, let's just fund our video shoots and let's just make this a leap. Can we at least break even? Yeah, like that'd be great. So we ended up Going off and watching a bunch of YouTube videos learning how to run ads, spent $5,000 and made zero sales.
Speaker 1:I mean that sounds yeah, that's all right yeah and in retrospect.
Speaker 3:It makes perfect sense on ads and they made no ads and made no sales and at the time I had no idea. I thought again. I thought we were just cursed. I thought like guy didn't love me, like it was just like you know I mean. But now in retrospect, like rap ain't working the market, but in retrospect it's like, well, it's not. It was because the way we were doing it was wrong, the way we learned was wrong.
Speaker 3:When you go to YouTube, you're learning from like 67 different teachers, yeah, and they all have different different styles, different ways Is yeah so you know, and then you go back and you try to implement 67 different strategies and then you're wondering why you're Confused and you're overwhelmed. Well, it's not that the subject matter is hard, it's that your studying method is hard. Hmm, it's the way that you were studying. It was wrong. So what we did was we, if we found a mentor and and, by the way, mentorship is the hack to success Hmm, it is the hack, right, it's not necessarily a secret, everybody's most successful people know this, but it's a hack. So we found somebody who already knew how to run ads and we just say hey look, I don't know how to do this, right, I threw up my hands. I don't know, teach me here. And we spent five grand on that too. So you already spent five bands. Yep didn't get no return, no return. It's been another five thousand.
Speaker 1:Yes, right.
Speaker 3:And this was like our last shot.
Speaker 4:Yeah, by the way, we had a 10k limit credit card at the time. Yeah, so you max out that joint out.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it was it, this was it. So and I'll never forget this in my whole life, because this guy, he you know, he came in and he looked at the way we were doing it. He was like, oh yeah, well, no wonder you're not making sales, right. And I was like, thank God, like I'm like so anyway, he told us the right way to do it. We went, by the way, this was a three-month span, so we spent five grand over three months, zero sales. We went home that night, implemented the ad the way he told us to do, and and we went to sleep, woke up in the morning and I had a sale by the time. I woke up in the morning and what was the sale? It was do we're selling gardening gloves?
Speaker 1:I know, I know, yeah, I know you're gonna space suit junkies, right that into marketing, see, yeah. And then you started a e-con store. Uh-huh and the e-con store have various products, various and one of the products was guarding and it went off.
Speaker 4:It was crazy.
Speaker 1:It went like like the rubber ones, yeah, like. But the thing, the reason it was crazy Is cuz it looked different.
Speaker 4:It was they were like green gloves, they had like these Wolverine claws on them and like we ran ads to them, cuz at this point we we had learned ads, so we ran ads to them and we were getting sales, but they weren't from the United States, they're from Brazil. A lot of a lot of Brazil. A lot of Brazilian cats was buying our product, bro, and that was our first product that did like over 20k, I believe. You know. You know it was our dropship, it was all dropship, yeah, so long story short.
Speaker 3:We ended up going from zero to 209,000 in sales in seven months, from the garden gloves or just, not just. Not just the gardening gloves, but those and a couple other products.
Speaker 2:It wasn't anything crazy.
Speaker 3:Yeah. So what we learned, what I took away from that whole experience, was, when it comes to success online and making money online, it has less to do with time, yeah and it has more to do with strategy hundred percent.
Speaker 1:I had. I had like a crazy epiphany about that, like I don't know, 2021. Yeah it was just different.
Speaker 3:I was like oh, wait a minute.
Speaker 1:Oh, I don't have to Push this boulder up the. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 3:Well, that's the way that we're. I don't know. We're trained to do that. We're programmed to look for the hard answers, yeah, and ignore the easy ones we're trained and programmed to, to focus on labor and ignore leverage, mm-hmm, yeah, and we don't understand that, you know. So we think that, oh, it just takes a lot of hard work to make money, but it doesn't. Hard work has nothing to do with making money. Smart work has to do with making money, for sure. So, anyway, that's a whole another yeah.
Speaker 4:But if you if you think about just human beings in general right. Like like there's an ease in remembering but there's a difficulty in imagining when it comes to human beings. Right Like you're you rapping right there? Yeah, that's a bar, I think so bar.
Speaker 1:That's a bar right there.
Speaker 4:Yeah, that's pretty so so like think about this right, the ease, and remembering us as human beings. We're so. We're so tied to our past, we're so tied to our habits and in the way that we used to be right. We're so married to that and it's easy for us to remember that. But it's very difficult. If we've been trained, trained in doing things a certain way for so long, it's so difficult to imagine us doing something different yeah, you know. Or imagine us having the cars and the relationships in the life that we want. It's difficult to imagine that because we can't see it. You know what I'm saying. But the Bible says Faith is a substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen right, meaning that you have to have faith that you're going to get to that level, because you can't see it right now. You know, saying you do not see it, it's not, it's not here. I mean, it's really how we got to the podcast exactly.
Speaker 1:I mean, y'all had faith that there was gonna be a studio right.
Speaker 4:Exactly. We just showed up and we saw this, we was like yo this is dope and that's, and that's a good metaphor for life in general.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you know, because we didn't know what it was gonna be. Yeah, we didn't know how it was gonna look. Mm-hmm, we didn't know if it was gonna look all dope like this even a man been in Vegas for a minute. You know the flu.

Speaker 3:Nothing you could have been looking at.

Speaker 4:real man. But you think about the entrepreneur like the average entrepreneur, like that's how they think they're. They're so married to their past self and and there's actually been studies Dr Joe dispends of studies, this stuff we are so married to our past selves. Our past habits are our past ways of thinking. It's very difficult to imagine that.
Speaker 4:So the greatest hack to be able to get to that level of imagining things the way that you want to is simply getting around the right types Of people, because, yes, you're unable to see it within your life, but if you get around the right people, you can see it in their life. And I remember, like being in Myron's inner circle and and looking at ash doing a nine million dollar day and then saying to myself Yo, he's doing it, marvin's doing it, keenan's doing five million dollar days, and although I couldn't see it in our business yet, seeing it in their business helped us to propel forward and we had a hundred K day. You know what I'm saying, but it's going back to the whole. Speaker 4:Well, first thing that you have to understand as an entrepreneur Is it's a lot easier to make money in a shorter period of time than it is in a longer period of time. And the first time that that we discovered that it was like, wait, what? You know what I'm saying? Like, what do you mean? It's easier, but it all has to do with the vehicle that you use. You know what I'm saying. So, like, think about that. The average entrepreneur, when they first get started, they have this goal and we'll just say their goal is like the destination they're trying to get to. So Most entrepreneurs, what they're doing is they put in the GPS where they want to go, but they're walking to that destination.
Speaker 4:So, they're using the GPS and they're walking and we all know walking it spends the most energy and it's gonna take you the longest time to get there, yeah so they're.
Speaker 4:They're not using any vehicles at all, they're going on YouTube, they're trying to figure it out on their own and they're just confused, right. But then they get a little smarter and they're like, okay, wait, this isn't right. This was us, by the way, this was us YouTube University, trying to figure it out, banging our head against the wall, not getting the results we wanted. So then we got smart. We were like, yo, there's other ways of doing this. So then we decide, okay, instead of walking, let's hop in in the whip, let's hop in the car, take the car there. The car is gonna gonna gonna Lesson the amount of time that is gonna take to get to that destination. Now, let's just say by half right.
Speaker 4:And the car, it could be a different vehicle. It could be you starting to get into digital products, it could be you utilizing lead magnets. That's gonna get you to your destination a lot quicker. But then, even then, as an entrepreneur, you're like, yo, I want more, I need more right. So then you get really smart and you're like, yo, what's the quickest way that I could get from where I met to my destination? And that way is the jet right. So you hop in the jet now and now. You get there super fast, as fast as possible. And one thing is, entrepreneurs, that we realize is it's the vehicle that that you're using To get to your destination that might be slowing you up. So ultimately, like, if you're an entrepreneur and you're looking to make money a lot quicker, tap into digital products, because digital products allow an infinite amount of People to come in and buy from you and you're not gonna get get tied up in in fulfilling those orders because it's digital.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's kind of like one of my favorites man. It's just basically I don't want to say it's free money, but it's basically it is damn near free and coming from where we Start leverage, yes.
Speaker 3:We're becoming from where we started from the, the physical products, like we were talking about the gardening gloves. Did you make a garden? Go digital product no no, but like we should have anniversary. Coming from that experience, though, man, if selling physical products and all the headache that it comes with because you got margins, you got shipping, you got customs, you got all this stuff digital products don't have any of that. Right soon as they buy it, it's instant. Yeah, it's delivered.
Speaker 3:It's 97% profit margin, because the only 3% margin is the stripe fee or the PayPal fee, the transaction fee so, but going off of what he said to me and it's, I think, the biggest epiphany that we had that allowed us to have 100k a day, yeah, was when we started focusing on leverage activities over just laborious activities. So we.
Speaker 1:So you discovered that. How long did it take you to implement that in your mind?
Speaker 3:well, for us it was instant. Okay, right, because Maybe we're built different, I don't know. We're action takers and action takers are money makers, right? So when any anybody that I know who's hyper successful, when they see a play, they run the play instantly. Yeah, they don't think about it. They don't say, oh, that was a good idea, I should probably do that next year. No, they run on it immediately, immediately. I know so.
Speaker 3:When we saw the play and we saw, and we had the epiphany, we changed everything instantly, right in my run, can tell you, because we we literally said it like we told us what our business model was wrong. And when you have a good coach, you don't, you don't question the coach, right, you just do what they tell you to do and then just run the play. And we did, and they changed the game for us. So we stopped, you know, focusing on labor and we started focusing on leverage, and that changed the game for us. Because Most people think about it like an analogy like you're in a garage trying to take a bolt off and you're sitting there and that bolt was put on by a factory Mm-hmm. So you're sitting there, you're struggling, your faces turning different colors, your hair is falling out face melted off.
Speaker 3:You face melted off trying to get this bolt off. Most people what they do is they just keep trying to get the bolt off. Yeah, right when? But it's amazing what leverage does. If you just add this little extension to the tool that you're like a ratchet, like a, like an ex, like a ratchet extension, whatever it's called. Now you're using leverage. All of a sudden, boom, you could pop the bolt off with like literally a quarter of the energy spent, right? So and that's the same thing with business what we're talking about is doing things the wrong way. Is you sitting there in that garage trying to take the bolt off, doing it the wrong way? It's not gonna. You're not gonna get the bolt anymore loose, You're just gonna make yourself more tired, right? What you need to do is look for the extension, look for the leverage ways to do things so you can get it off easier, AKA make more money easier, faster, and then, once you have that epiphany, you can never go back.
Speaker 1:You know what I mean. It's like you can't, you can't, you can't.
Speaker 3:So that's been the game changer for us, and the beautiful thing is I know there's a lot of different leverage activities that we haven't discovered yet Exactly.
Speaker 4:But we doubled our revenue last year from those leverage activities From work to work. So we were doing. We did about 400 the year before until around what like eight eight or so.
Speaker 3:That's eight collected, but we did over seven, over seven figures Over seven figures contracted revenue last year.
Speaker 1:And that's just from changing mindset, using leverage, getting around good people, good mentorship.
Speaker 3:Yep and taking a lot of action, taking a lot of action, taking the right types of action, you know, and also now getting tripped up along the process.
Speaker 1:Have you made that type of money in rap? No, bro, no.
Speaker 4:And I feel like if we would have stuck with it, we would have been up there, and the reason I say that is because we have producers that we worked with that we were like tied to the hip, Like always working together. They're now producing for Kanye and like doing all these things, making money. So I know we would have got there, but for us it's like yo he had a family, I was about to build my family. It was like yo, we don't got much time to sit here and waste and, by the way, we still have that itch by the way to still do music.
Speaker 1:I mean all the marketers, so you can. I mean it's all creative, though.
Speaker 3:I mean you know what I mean it really wasn't a big switch. And now us going from rapping on stage to speaking on stage.
Speaker 4:It's pretty similar. It really ain't no different right.
Speaker 3:So, feelings though, we went from you know we used to move our. You know we used to use our words to move bodies and now we use our words to move minds. There really is no difference, and it's really a seamless transition.
Speaker 1:How long have y'all been business partners.
Speaker 4:Oh man 15? 15 years.
Speaker 1:So how have y'all been able to sustain a business partnership? Because after a while, you know.
Speaker 4:Yeah, things could go awry, for sure.
Speaker 1:So how's that been able to coexist it?
Speaker 4:seems like y'all got good relationship. I feel like we're built different. We are man, To be honest.
Speaker 3:I think we're built different because we don't argue no, we don't have to, it's like yo. We both understand the situation, we understand the goals where we're trying to go, and there's, yeah, we have disagreements, but it never turns into a fight because it's like yo, we respect each other's opinion so much and we both are trying to get to the same place, yeah, and we understand each other, like when I first met him.
Speaker 4:It's funny story because I was a music artist back at in Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers and he was a producer and there was this DJ, dj Griff Gotti. God bless the dead Rest in peace. He introduced us and we actually had a show and we were both on the bill of the show and Griff had always been telling me, like yo, I got this dude, his name is Plex. Plex is dope, y'all need to link up. That's his rap name, plex. By the way. He's like yo, plex is dope, y'all got to link up. Man. And he would be telling Plex the same thing. I still call him Plex, I don't call him Steven.
Speaker 3:I call him.
Speaker 4:Plex. But so we were on the same bill for this show and then Griff introduced us and we started hitting it off and we were like yo. Griff was like yo, why don't y'all do a mixtape together? And he was like, all right, let's do it. So he had a studio in his crib, so we go to his crib, we start recording, and it was just like it was the dopest, the dopest shit that we don't ever recorded ever. And we was like bruh, we got to do this. So since then it's just been we've been working, and one of the things that really like stuck out to me was I got sick when we were in Fort Myers. I had like an allergy or so I couldn't live in my house anymore. And he opened up his crib for me to stay in his crib for like how long was that? Like a few weeks.
Speaker 4:It was like when Jaylin was like young, young, and that to me was like yo, he's looking out Like a lot of people wouldn't have done that. So since then it's been like we've been tight. We moved to Atlanta together, we were roommates, like all of that, so it's been, it's been on up and up Space suit junkies, bruh Space suit junkies.
Speaker 3:Man, you understand, yeah, and now Rich for many words. Is just spacesuit reinvented? Yep, but in the business world.
Speaker 1:So both of y'all are married. I'm married. Yeah, he's married. I got a fiance.
Speaker 4:I'll be married this year. Okay, pretty much, I'm married. Yes, I am.
Speaker 1:How has being in a relationship, being married, about to be married, how's that contributed to success in your businesses, man it's everything.
Speaker 4:If you look at like most hyper successful people, they have a woman on their side that's supporting them in some way. So for me, like it's everything, like if I didn't have my fiance, it would be very tough for me to make money. Because she's handled, she's holding down the crib, she's taking care of the kids, like she doesn't work, so like she, that's her thing, like, and she enjoys it. Right, she enjoys just holding down the crib, which allows me to come out here and give the value, and you know things like that.
Speaker 4:But I think it's very important in relationships like this, especially for a high level entrepreneur, you have to understand that just because you're busy does not mean that you just neglect your partner, because that's big and a lot of entrepreneurs struggle with this. There's women that say they're not getting enough attention because as entrepreneurs, like we are focused, we are creatives, we do these things. So it's very important to still carve out time for your spouse in order to help that relationship to blossom and grow. So you know, me and my fiance, we do date nights. We try and do date nights once a week, like we go to comedy shows sometimes, you know, do things like that. But it's extremely important to keep the relationship strong and also make sure you have an understanding spouse as well that understands yo. He's gonna be out here doing this thing and I have to be cool with that in order for everything to be taken care of at the house, all the bills to be paid, you know things like that. So, yeah, now that's big and yeah, same thing.
Speaker 3:but also, yeah, couldn't do it without my wife. There's no way it'd be impossible, all like. She's like a professional chef.
Speaker 4:That's not a professional chef Like literally oh yeah, bruh, like she'd be throwing down.
Speaker 3:It's another level Takes care of my son, does all the things that need to be done so that I could focus on this. But you know what also is like a? It's like this driving momentum, this driving motivation behind you too, right Cause I remember being single and it's like you're motivated, but you're not as motivated when you have a wife behind you, like, bro, you better get this done, yeah, right, or you got a son that you're trying. I feel like y'all talking to me, right.
Speaker 1:So I got her right.
Speaker 3:It's a whole another level of motivation, man, you know, and it's important to have. I think, and that's probably the reason why so many successful people have significant others, because they know that they have somebody behind them, they're relying on them.
Speaker 4:It grounds you honestly, cause could you imagine us single, bro? Like remember that little spur of time in Atlanta when we were single? It'd be a mess, it'd be crazy bro because It'd be a mess and thinking about you. Bro, you're single right now. Right, you got to be very careful about the type of woman you select because you're making money. You know what I'm saying You're a hot item. You know Women are looking at you like yo. He got money, he's handsome.

Speaker 1:could they have set up Cause you know if they're watching right now or listening right now, and they, you know they gotta go crazy with content, whether it's streaming or whether it's YouTube, tiktok, instagram. You know they're content creators. They might be making some money from the app you know what I'm saying or from YouTube. How was kid at diversify, make this and write it.
Speaker 3:You gotta find what your niche is. You gotta find what it is that you offer to the world and the way that we tell people to do it is. You have to find what we call. It's what we call the golden intersection of passion proficiency. That's not like Vegas, right? True, it's not like something in Vegas. Yeah, the golden intersection of passion, proficiency and profitability.

Speaker 3:You gotta find what it is that you're passionate about. The golden P Pause. So what are you passionate about? Right Cause, you need passion in order to to be able to thrive. What am I good at that most people are not good at, like what do I do? That's like probably 99% better than most of the world.

Speaker 4:Yeah you see, got all these different like brand deals for like cakes and bread you would have to be very understanding Of the fact that she gonna be out there rolling bread on her face and then showing her.

Speaker 3:And then the last thing is profitability. Right, you have to make sure that you're targeting an audience that that has the money to Buy your stuff. Right, that's a big one that people forget to think about. Right, though, they'll target an audience that has no money.
Speaker 3:Yeah and and again. If you have a $10 offer and the person only has $9, you can't sell it to them as much as they want to buy it, as much they can buy it until they're blue in the face. They can want to buy it until they're blue in the face, but if they ain't got the money, they ain't gonna buy it. So find that. What I would tell people is, find that, that golden intersection of passion, proficiency and profitability, and then that, right there, that's your, that's your niche, that's where you need to live and it doesn't need to be a huge niche. Don't make the mistake of thinking that this is what most people do when they're trying to niche down, is they think that they're leaving money on the table by not targeting everyone. But you got to remember if you're, if you're, everyone ain't for you, everyone ain't for you. Yeah, if you're targeting everybody, you're targeting nobody back.
Speaker 3:So that was one thing that you know, we struggled with for a while, to you know, and Thinking that, oh man, like, but I could help that person and I could help this person and I can help this person like what if I Dude? There's more people that need your services than you haven't even had the time or energy to serve. The fact is, there's more people out there that, love, would love to buy your stuff right now. Then you even have the energy or capacity to even serve, and that's the truth. Yeah, you know like even there's probably more people in a 15 mile radius around your house right now that would love to work with you. If they just knew that you existed.
Speaker 4:Yeah, that's a fact, but I think most entrepreneurs they have the wrong mindset when they think about things. You know, we abundance is very vast, but a lot of people have this like this teaspoon mindset, right when they're like. They're like they're going to this abundant ocean with a teaspoon and then they're thinking that they have lack Because all they're focused on is the water that's in the teaspoon instead of the abundance of the ocean. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:So I think a lot of what is a programming though too. Absolutely, it is it goes.
Speaker 4:It goes back into what we talked about earlier about like people having having an ease and remembering.
Speaker 4:You know they're very married to their old habits and in their old selves. And you know there's something called the, the 80 20 rule. The is Pareto's principle and it basically states that 80 percent of your product or 80 percent of your Productivity is done by 20 percent of your activity. You know what I'm saying. So most people they are they. They. They're getting a lot of things done. That's the 80 percent, but only 20 percent of the activities they're doing on a daily basis are contributing to that 80 percent.
Speaker 4:So one thing that that we say you should do is you should, you should audit yourself, audit your habits, right, and start looking at the habits that you're doing on a daily basis and say, okay, hmm, I'm doing that a lot. I need to get rid of that. I'm doing that. This is actually bringing me in money. I'll keep that, this right here. That's, that's wasting time. I'm getting rid of that. So what you have to do is you have to focus on these needle-moving activities so that you can turn that 20 percent of activities into 80 percent or as close to 100 percent as possible. And that's another thing that we did. We're in our business. That allowed us to double our revenue last year was. We were like okay, what's moving the needle in our business, what's making money in our business?
Speaker 3:They're making up, but see, one thing that allowed us to become aware of that, though, was being in a group of people who helped us Identify that absolutely, and that's another, that's another huge part about being in mentorship programs and being around higher level entrepreneurs than you Is. They can. They can help identify your bottlenecks faster than you could. Yeah, yeah, ever, and they'll do it like this. Yeah, like you ever like had a friend come to you with all these problems and like they're wondering what their problem is, and it's like it's super simple, like super obvious for you.
Speaker 3:Like, yeah, we'll leave her, bro, he's just crazy, but he but he's so zoomed into it to the situation that he can't see what the problem is. But you, as someone on the third-party perspective looking in, it's very easy.
Speaker 4:It's a good analogy, so that's.
Speaker 1:The real reason why I meant worship.
Speaker 3:That's flex, right there, that's flex, baby, come on.
Speaker 4:No, I like that.
Speaker 3:So that's why mentorship so powerful though, man, you know, and that's why would students come into our business, into our mentorship?
Speaker 1:We can identify what they're doing wrong in minutes and I think that's that's also you know you both mentioned before about like being in the right group because you could do that for someone or even for some clients, that might be the wrong fit or you might be a wrong. You still be around, some people that are not growing in any mindset, yeah, and then that Can be looked at as aggravation, or it could be looked at it like oh, there you go again, right, and that's not what you want, because now, support to your growth and it's just not a good fit with that relationship, that friendship, or even, or even, like you know, customer and you know like like client match.
Speaker 3:Yes, you know, I mean yeah, you got to find the right people who you resonate with. You know, don't just, don't just invest in any mentor like. Invest in someone who you resonate with on a deeper level than just, than just conscious.
Speaker 3:Yeah you know, and and I think that that's one of the things I think we've done really well in our career is pick the right mentors. Yes, because not all coaches are created equal. Some coaches will literally waste your time and waste your money, that's true, but some coaches will literally change your entire life, mm-hmm. So you got to be able to pick the right coach and Then, when you find the right coach, it's also very important to not get in the way of that coach. Do what they tell you to do, even if it sounds counterintuitive, even if it sounds counterproductive. Yeah, do it, because if you already knew what to do, you'd already be doing it.
Speaker 4:That's a fact. That's a fact. That's a fact. And one thing to understand too is, like with coaches, it can be difficult to find the right coach, like a lot of a lot of students in our inner circle, they've been in other coaching programs before and they just say how it didn't didn't do what they said they were gonna do, and you know All of this stuff. But it's very important to to Find the right mentor. And one thing that our mentor, myron, says is if your coach doesn't have a coach, Then your coach is a joke.
Speaker 4:Yeah, you know what I'm saying. So everybody needs to continuously be learning because otherwise they can't bestow that information upon you Effectively, right? So when it comes to entrepreneurs that are out here and they're looking to find a coach, look at testimonials. That's always a great way to figure out, like, if they're legit or not. Look at testimonials, go to their website and see what people are saying about them. Do they have video testimonials? You can ask people, ask people who've been in their coaching program before. Hey, is this person legit? Like those are the ways to To really do it right. And then, obviously, you got to have the gut test as well. Mm-hmm in your gut, does it feel like this person can lead you to success?
Speaker 4:Yeah, a lot of times when we're doing our free trainings, people are like yo, y'all are different than than any training I've been. Y'all have a very different vibe, and I think that's just because we really care about our students, not saying other coaches don't, but I can only speak for myself. Like we really care about our students. Success, like we go the extra mile. Like even on our challenge to grow your list challenge, we go the extra mile to make sure that they're able to have the tangible assets necessary to grow their list.
Speaker 4:Our motto is no one is left behind. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Regardless, if you're tech savvy, if you're not tech savvy, no one's gonna be left behind. And and that's very big for people who who've been burned before in the past right, a lot of people have been burned. They've spent thousands of dollars with these coaches and they just have a real icky feeling about coaching. So when we come in and we give it our all right and we show them hey, you can really do this, we'll take our time with you and help you out it hits a lot different, and that's one thing that you have to look for if you're looking to find a good coach Make sure they actually really do care about you and your success.
Speaker 3:A lot of people are shocked they're shocked, really like they that the amount that we do care and the amount of extra mile we go, they're like, they're really like. Wow, I've never seen this before, like I literally haven't seen, and I think it comes from our experience of being broke music artists, hmm, and being in a space where we were in this Roach, infested and infested apartment with $20,000 in debt and no money. No, nothing like health problems, relationship falling apart. I've been in that situation and the thing that pulled me out of it was a good mentor, hmm. So I think I, I think I subconsciously I'm giving back to. It's not giving back, but it's like I want to.
Speaker 1:I want to.
Speaker 2:Forward you know what I?
Speaker 3:mean, I want to be that mentor to someone else, and not just one person, but thousands, maybe millions of people. You know, because I know what it can do, but you also the student who's listening right now you also have to take action and and and execute on the stuff. You can't just pay a mentor, get the information and then there's no implementation. Yeah, facts, that's the other part. It's a partnership. Right, coaching is a partnership. You can't just go in there, get this information and think things are gonna just magically appear in front of you. Yeah, it doesn't work like that. You got to be somebody who's ready to take action and ready to move, and if you are, I honestly think it's. It's impossible for you to fail. If you find the right coach and you're really willing to do whatever it takes, you can't fail, because it's only a matter of time before we find we find the right thing. Right. Even if you do a couple things and it doesn't work immediately, eventually we will run out of ways to fail and we're only gonna.
Speaker 4:We're only gonna have the things that are exactly. Failure is a part of the game, you know. Failure is, everybody fails, you know. But there's a saying and it says fail forward, basically meaning every time you fail, it's a step in the right direction.
Speaker 1:You know, don't look at you like yo, I feel today.
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 3:I wish I would have failed yesterday, today exactly fast man fail as fast as you can, because again you you're gonna run out of ways to that don't work and you're only gonna be left with the ways that do work.
Speaker 4:Yep, and if you look about like the greatest in the game, like I'd like to use sports analogy. So just look at the greatest in the game, like Kobe or Michael or or any of these, these, these greats. They failed a lot. Steph Curry right, steph Curry? I failed a lot. Steph failed a lot, right, steph. Steph didn't make every three-point shot. Look at, look at Jordan. He's missed a lot of game winners, a lot of game winners, right, but he wasn't defined by that. Kobe. Kobe Bryant has missed the most shots in NBA history, mmm, but he's one of the goats of the league, right, but that's because he wasn't afraid to shoot the shot. I remember this was like 98. I'm a kind of a basketball junkie, so this was like 98 and I'll never forget this. The Lakers were playing the Utah Jazz and it was like Kobe's second year and he was not a star.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, yeah twice.
Speaker 4:Yeah, airball twice. He was trying to hit the game winner. He airballed twice. This is a second-year player, he wasn't even the best player on the team, but he wasn't afraid to shoot the shot. Anyway, you know what I'm saying. And people were getting on him, but in his mind he's like yo, I'm already great, so I have to prove my greatness. I'm not afraid to put myself out there, even if I do fail. Right, and you know, obviously he had a storied career and his Hall of Famer and all this other stuff. But it starts by by having that mindset of yo, I don't care if I fail, I don't care if I don't. You know cuz, if you think about it like what's?
Speaker 3:the worst that can happen.
Speaker 1:Exactly what's the worst that can happen as an entrepreneur right.
Speaker 4:The same thing has happened in the day that you decided exactly maybe a little embarrassment, yeah right, compare that to thousands of years ago, where one decision could end your life you could got eaten by a bear or you could have got shot up. You know what I'm saying? Like it's very different now. Success is very easy now, and that's one thing that we say a lot is like yo, it's easy to be successful. Like you think about all, the, all the things that are designed for us to win. Right, when you, when you have the right mentor, it's a lot easier for you to become successful. And the the key is putting yourself out there, though, because, honestly, ask yourself, yeah, what is the worst thing that could really happen? I'm not gonna die. I might be embarrassed a little bit, my ego might be hurt, but yo, I'm still safe. You know what I'm saying. So you got to start thinking about things like that. Like yo, what's the worst that can happen? I'm gonna speak in front of this stage, I'm gonna put out this product, and if it's a dud, it's a dud. I'm gonna keep going until I get it right.

Speaker 2:Yes, and that you're actually helping out there.
Speaker 3:Yeah and in the word of mouth will start. It will. It will go crazy. And if you got something that's helping people but you got to, you got to focus on the value. Don't be so focused on on your logo, what color to use and all that stuff like that's cool but nobody cares about your logo just execute.
Speaker 3:No one cares about our logo either. Yeah, no one bought because like, oh, I just like their logo. No, they bought because they, they knew that there was something different about us and they felt it. They couldn't quite describe it, but it's like there's something different about these dudes and then, and then they took action, they bet on themselves.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and they went. So I cool. So is there anything else you want to share, man? I mean, you guys went over a lot family marketing, challenge, mindset, paradigms. Yeah, I would honestly just say man flex.
Speaker 4:I would honestly just say, like, if you're an entrepreneur, like you have to to continue to push forward, stay in pursuit.
Speaker 4:Right, like you got to stay in pursuit because there's something called the magic genie mindset and basically you know, as entrepreneurs, there's always gonna be months that are lower than others, where you're not making the money. But with the magic genie mindset, think about this. Think about like if you stumbled upon a magic genie somehow and the magic genie was like yo, what is your, what's your goal, what's your revenue goal? And you tell them hey, I want to make a million dollars by the end of the year. So the magic genie is like okay, cool, I'm the magic genie, I'm gonna set this in stone. So at this date next year, you will have amassed at least a million dollars in your business, right? So now that you know that, now that you know that, regardless of what happens throughout the year, you're going to make a million dollars because it's set in stone, now those, those, those lower months, or those so-called depressing months, they don't seem as depressing anymore. You know what I'm saying? Because? Because you're just gonna chalk it up to being a part of the process and you getting to that million dollars. Yeah, you're gonna chalk it up to that.
Speaker 4:But I think a lot of entrepreneurs, they don't have that type of mindset where they know I am destined for greatness, I am destined to hit this particular goal. They don't have that mindset. So if they have a down month, it's the end of the world. It's like, oh my god, like I don't know what I'm gonna do, I don't know if it's gonna get better. But when you know it's gonna get better and you know at the end of the year You're gonna make this amount of money and it's set in stone and you know it. Now, all of a sudden, those, those low months, they don't hit the same at all. Now it's gonna help you to continue to push through, continue to work, because you know where you're going. So I just think a lot of entrepreneurs need to start adopting that mindset and understanding that they are destined for greatness and they are going to make this amount of money and have the life that they want, because when you do, yeah, the pressure doesn't exist for you anymore, you know. So that's all I wanted to say, man.
